“Robert” (2015)

“Robert” is a chilling British horror film that first graced the screens in 2015. It is the brainchild of writer and director Andrew Jones, who skillfully weaves a tale inspired by the legend of Robert the Doll

The plot revolves around a seemingly ordinary family whose lives are turned upside down when their young son, played by Flynn Allen, comes into possession of the eerie doll.

As the film unfolds, the family, portrayed by Suzie Frances Garton and Lee Bane, find themselves subjected to increasingly terrifying and unexplainable events.

Housekeeper Agatha informs the family that the malevolent presence in their home originates from none other than their seemingly harmless doll, Robert. From that point on, the film escalates into a gripping battle against the supernatural.

“The Curse of Robert the Doll” (2016)

In 2016, a British horror movie titled “The Curse of Robert the Doll” was released as a follow-up to the 2015 film “Robert.”

The film’s director, Andrew Jones, cast Nigel Barber, Tiffany Ceri, Suzie Frances Garton, Lee Bane, and Chris Bell as its stars.

The plot centers around a paranormal investigator who purchases the cursed doll at an auction and brings it home, where his daughter discovers it and becomes possessed by its evil spirit. The family then experiences terrifying supernatural occurrences.

Although the film received poor reviews, it is well-known for the ridiculous design of the doll.

“Robert and the Toymaker” (2017)

“Robert and the Toymaker” is a horror movie released in 2017, and it serves as a sequel to the 2015 movie “Robert.” The same Andrew Jones directed the film and features Lee Bane, Erick Hayden, and Jo Weil in lead roles.

The plot revolves around a toymaker who creates a life-size doll possessed by Robert’s vengeful spirit. The “Toymaker” sells the doll to a collector, who brings it to his home, where supernatural occurrences terrorize his family.

The movie received mixed reviews, with some viewers appreciating it as a worthy continuation of the first installment.

Stoichkov believed that the Toymaker and his book could save Stalin from impending death, and hence, he abducted the Toymaker and boarded a plane to Moscow.

However, chaos broke out mid-flight as the Toymaker’s creations came to life and pursued the abductors. The KGB team, including Stoichkov, soon realized the dolls were on board and would not relent until they rescued their master.
